TONY: No, I’m dead.
Bill is hoping for a reset after Tony. Retreating to his mum’s flat by the sea, he searches for a way to move on. Ice Cream. Karaoke. Ketamine. Nothing works. But when he forms a connection with a local barman, Tony’s ghost appears.
Boo! is a haunting and tender new play by Alistair Hall that asks what it means to hold on when letting go might be the only way to survive.

Over a 3 week period the plays are written, selected, cast, rehearsed and staged. Saturday 23 January 2:30pm 2027 PAY WHAT YOU CHOOSE RELAXED PERFORMANCE: Our Pay What You Choose where tickets start from £10. For anyone who benefits from a more relaxed performance environment. House lights are left up with audience free to exit and reenter as required. Sound levels are reduced and any strobe / ‘flashing light’ effects will be omitted also. We also invite those with babes in arms to attend as opportunity for parents and/or guardians to enjoy a spot of theatre, at a reduced price, without the need to hire a babysitter.
Alistair Hall
Alistair Hall is a writer and actor from Chippenham, now based in East Sussex. His solo show DECLAN, a queer thriller set in rural Wiltshire, premiered at Edinburgh Fringe in 2023.
DECLAN was originally presented online during lockdown and featured on The Guardian’s ‘Best Online Theatre’.
Alistair was part of the BBC Voices 2024 cohort. His writing has been shortlisted for the Bristol Old Vic x Pleasance Partnership Award and the Papatango Prize.
Boo! is his debut full-length play.
