Script Submission Form
Complete the form below, stating name, play title and uploading the script as requested.
You will receive a response acknowledging receipt of your play.
Your work will be subject to an initial assessment by Senior Members of the Literary Department and you will be notified if we decide that your play is not suitable for us.
After the initial assessment all plays going forward will be read by at least two Theatre503 readers and discussed at the monthly script meetings.
A decision concerning your work will then be taken and you will be notified of this outcome by email.
We aim to complete this process in 3 months, but it may sometimes take longer.* If you have not heard from us, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org
We regret that we are unable to offer feedback as standard on all plays. However we aim to communicate the outcome of the process concerning all submissions to writers, and some feedback, or ongoing communication may be embarked upon at the theatre’s discretion.
Please only submit one script at a time. Once you have received a response regarding the first script, you are welcome to submit another.
*PLEASE NOTE: in 2016, we will be running the Theatre503 Playwriting Award, and our primary focus will be reading scripts entered for the award. If you are submitting an unsolicited script after December 1st 2015, your work may only be considered once the award process is complete.
