Do you know someone with a talent for writing?
Or have you ever thought about writing a play?
Currently living in Wandsworth?

If the answer is yes, then read on…

“There are loads of courses for writers out there once you’ve got some experience, but there’s nothing for writers who don’t even know they’re writers yet. I wish there had been something like this when I was starting out”

Ross Willis (one of Theatre503’s Writers In Residence and writer of Wolfie, premiering from March 20th at 503)

Theatre503 are offering residents of Wandsworth (18 upwards) the unique opportunity to take part in a six week, introduction to playwriting course, run by Theatre503’s Literary Manager, Steve Harper. We need the help of residents, community groups, arts venues, teachers and local businesses to nominate someone who you think would really benefit from this, but might not have the confidence to get in touch. You can, of course, nominate yourself.

Right to Write will run over a series of Wednesday evenings from the end of January until March 2019 (full dates below) and include the opportunity to see two Theatre503 shows. It will give you the tools and the techniques to try your hand at playwriting and the opportunity to see your work brought to life by professional actors in the final sharing session.

Thanks to the support of the Battersea Power Station Foundation, if you or your nominee is selected, you simply need to pay a £10 deposit to secure a place, and the rest is offered free of charge.

Deadline for applications is 12 noon Monday 14th January. Places are limited so get your nominations in…
