Theatre503 Writers’ Programme Course: Writing for TV: Treatments, Outlines and One-Pagers with Anna Jordan

A workshop designed to demystify the process of creating pitch docs for television and help capture the essence of your big ideas on paper.

Time: 11am – 1:30pm

Running time of workshop: 2.5 hours – delivered online. Maximum class sizes are 16. A portion of spaces have been reserved for Share the Drama places.

Anna Jordan

Anna Jordan is a screenwriter, playwright, theatre director and teacher. Her writing for television includes Succession (HBO), Killing Eve (Sid Gentle) and Becoming Elizabeth (The Forge / Starz.) Anna wrote two episodes on the upcoming Netflix show, One Day. Theatre writing includes Jack and the Beanstalk (Stratford East), Pop Music (Hull Truck / Paines Plough / Birmingham Rep), Mother Courage and Her Children (Royal Exchange) and We Anchor In Hope (Royal Court / Bunker Theatre.) Anna won the Bruntwood Prize in 2013 for her play YEN, which has had productions at The Royal Exchange, Royal Court Theatre and MCC New York as well as several international productions. It was also shortlisted for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Anna teaches writing and acting.
