Two children run away from home to an abandoned house and build their own secret, fantastical city, complete with water slides for the tube and spaceships to different galaxies. But the reality they’ve escaped from is catching up to them. And the ghosts outside the door are getting louder.
Tiny Change Theatre Company put big ideas in small rooms. Dedicated to bold, emotional and powerful new writing in intimate settings, their events promote inclusivity and accessibility to high quality theatre. Named after a line by late singer Scott Hutchison, they aim to make shows that send you reeling into the night, and change who you are in a small way.
Mark Fenton
Mark is a Birmingham based writer, director and sound designer. He founded Tiny Change Theatre in late 2018 and Torch Town will be his second new play with the company. Approaching theatre with a DIY ethic, Fenton’s plays discuss themes spreading from addiction to coming of age, and are consistently packed with imagination, powerful moments, and a great soundtrack.
