ALJO Entertainment and Theatre503 present...
When sisters Reese and Ollie are brought back to their childhood home in the wake of their father’s death, emotions run high as problems from their youth bubble under the surface. Having lost their mother while they were children, the two sisters are left to sort through years of belongings. Sifting through, they stumble upon their mum’s journal and magic mushrooms from the 80s. Naturally, the sisters eat them, and find themselves watching their parents lives narrated by their mum. Seeing the young couples’ highs and lows, the sisters see for themselves the trials and tribulations their parents faced. Together, Reese and Ollie come to understand these people who brought them into the world, and ultimately work through familial traumas put upon them.
