Are you taking a piece of new writing to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer? Join the Theatre503 team and invited guests to hear how you can ensure your plays are seen by the right audiences, programmers and press.
Led by Theatre503’s Producer, Jake Orr and joined by Michelle Barnette, Producer for Kings Head Theatre and Chloé Nelkin, Founder of Chloé Nelkin Consulting and further panelist to be confirmed, the panel will discuss:
– Effective, on-the-ground marketing.
– Who to be inviting to your shows and how.
– Future life discussions and how to have them.
– Case studies of previous New Writing produced at and beyond the festival.
– Top tips and the survival kit every producer needs for Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
This panel discussion is suitable for anyone who is taking new writing to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The topics covered will be primarily focused on early-staged producers and companies.
Jake is Producer at Theatre503. At the venue he has produced Wolfie by Ross Willis, Cinderella and the Beanstalk by The Sleeping Trees, Br’er Cotton by Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and In Event of Moone Disaster by Andrew Thompson. As co-producer; J’Ouvert by Yasmin Joseph and The Art of Gaman by Dipika Guha. Beyond Theatre503, Jake produces under Jake Orr Productions and is currently producing Charlotte Josephine’s Pops in a co-production with HighTide and Live Theatre. Previous shows include; No Miracles Here by The Letter Room, BLUSH by Charlotte Josephine, Weald by Daniel Foxsmith, Shelter me by Circumference. Jake is the co-director of Incoming Festival, having produced all six festivals since 2014. Jake is the founder of A Younger Theatre.
