F-Bomb Theatre and Theatre503 present...
Winner of the inaugural Bragi Award for excellence in new writing and performance.
Indra always wanted to be an astronaut. They got the silver suit, the rocket fuelled up, the nine-month mission mapped out. But when the countdown ends too soon, they find themself crash-landed back on earth – alone and with everyone pretending the mission never happened.
Float is a semi-autobiographical space odyssey about pregnancy loss as a young, queer solo parent – charting the thrill of blast-off, the weightless hope of orbit, and the freefall of coming back down too soon. With no manual for “failed” astronauts, Indra is left floating in silence – but discovers glimmers of connection, resilience and love among the wreckage.
F-Bomb Theatre is a Fringe First-winning feminist theatre company based in Scotland, creating bold, unapologetic work that sparks conversation and challenges gender inequality.

Indra Wilson
Indra is an award-winning performance maker, researcher, producer and drama facilitator. Indra trusts that art and performance are tools to provoke conversation and social change. Because collaboration is at the heart of their understanding of art as a transformative process, they often collaborate with communities of marginalised identities who their work will affect. Indra graduated with a BA Honours in Contemporary Performance Practice from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked with a range of organisations, including Glass Theatre Company within HMYOI Polmont, Toonspeak, Beacon Art Centre, Scottish Youth Theatre, Platform Theatre Company, Culture Collective, The Village Storytelling Centre, The Tron Theatre and The Prince and Princesses of Wales Hospice. Indra is also an experienced drama facilitator who has worked across various contexts and is a member of the WonderFools Youth Board.
