“I was ticking them off one by one like an especially upsetting game of Bingo”

Alan has early-onset dementia. But it’s okay. Alan only has to remember three words, that’s all: Banana, Crabtree, Simon. They’re the three words that make sure he hasn’t gone completely doolally, despite what his wife and son think. Banana… Simon?

Banana Crabtree Simon is an Offie-nominated one-man play that follows Alan and his journey with early onset dementia.

Mountview is one of the UK’s leading drama schools. The annual Catalyst Festival is produced by the students from Mountview’s MA in Creative Producing.
