Roxy Cook will draw on her experience as a development executive, script editor and writer to illuminate the writer’s journey into TV: schemes and competitions, spec scripts, treatments and two pagers. While screen is a very different medium to stage, Roxy will focus on strategically harnessing what makes you unique as a playwright to carve out your space in a crowded, tumultuous industry. The session will cover the state of the industry and how it works, before moving onto specific spec and treatment examples, followed by a Q&A. Participants are invited to highlight topics they’d like covered in advance, if they wish.

Tuesday 14 October 2025, 19:00-21:30

This masterclass will take place online and participants will be sent a link ahead of the Masterclass.
