Back Talk Theatre in association with Theatre503 presents
£15 | £12 conc. | ‘Pay What You Can’ Sat. Mat
RUNNING TIME / NOTICES: 60mins (no interval)
Rosie is sick of being told what to do. How to act, how to date and who to love. A Girl, Standing is a snapshot of one woman’s life as she tries to navigate the demands of the people who claim to love her. How much should you change yourself to make the people you love happy? And whose feelings are you willing to trample to get what you want?
Back Talk Theatre is a new company, placing female narratives at the centre of their work. Their focus is on new writing that interrogates the politics, sexual attitudes and emotional engagements of people who identify as women. Formed at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, they have had their work produced as part of the Pub Theatre Festival 2019 and the Tristan Bates Otherland Season.

She has a short film, Two Steps Forward, in post-production and her next play Refract will be on at the King’s Head Theatre in August.
