503 Studio Open Talks: Is it Ever Too Late to Start Writing?
To many, the answer may be obvious (no). However, we are very aware of the lack of support for writers who consider themselves older, or at least no longer eligible for some of the schemes which often benefit younger participants. We’d like to open up a discussion around what barriers, perceived or actual, there are to starting a writing career later in life as well as the opportunties that could enrich the quality of storytelling with more life experience.
Theatre503’s Open Talks are Pay What You Can, thanks to Arts Council England’s Emergency Grant and our Share The Drama scheme.
If you would like to discuss any access requirements and how we can accommodate them, prior to booking, please get in touch with us.
Running time of workshop: 2 hours online
