The “Writing for TV” session will take participants through the process of conceiving an idea for tv and creating a pitch document. Theresa will also share her journey from her first play to her first TV green light, and any lessons she’s learnt along the way.

Running time of workshop: 2.5 hours – delivered online. Maximum class sizes are 14. A portion of spaces have been reserved for Share the Drama places.

Theresa Ikoko is a British playwright and screenwriter of Nigerian descent.  Her play Girls, about three girls abducted by terrorists in northern Nigeria, won the Alfred Fagon Award and other awards. She is a writer and producer, whose TV & film work includes  Rocks (2019), Grime Kids and Girls.
