503 Studio Masterclass: Dramaturgy
Leading Dramaturg and teacher Sarah Dickenson explores the role of the dramaturg and their place within the development of a script to full production.

Sarah Dickenson
Sarah has been working with plays and playwrights for nearly two decades as a dramaturg, project manager and playwright. She is currently the Associate Dramaturg at LAMDA. Other dramaturgical roles include: Associate Dramaturg for the RSC (Midsummer Mischief), Production Dramaturg for the Globe (Holy Warriors by David Eldridge), Senior Reader at Soho Theatre, Literary Manager for Theatre503, New Writing Associate at The Red Room and founding Coordinator for the South West New Writing Network. She has worked on performance projects and artistic development nationally and internationally for a wide range of organisations and theatre makers including Nuffield Theatre Southampton, The Nest Collective, Kiln, Vicky Graham Productions, Graeae, Theatre Centre, Y Labordy, writernet, National Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, Kaleider, The Wrong Crowd, Bristol Old Vic, Theatre Bristol, Old Vic New Voices, Liverpool Everyman, The Gate, Champloo, Ustinov Bath, Plymouth Theatre Royal, Tamasha, Apples and Snakes, The Almeida, Hall for Cornwall and The Fence.
