What makes a character compelling? Why do audiences find certain characters memorable? What forces a character to act? In this practical workshop, Oladipo Agboluaje will guide participants to grasping how characters shape a story through their arc.

Running time of workshop: 2.5 hours – delivered online. Maximum class sizes are 14. A portion of spaces have been reserved for Share the Drama places.

Oladipo Agboluaje is a playwright and tutor of creative writing and post-colonial drama.
He is a fellow of the Royal Literary Fund and Assistant General Secretary of the African Theatre Association (AfTA). His most recent play is Here’s What She Said To Me for Utopia Theatre, which was performed at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield in 2020.
