This masterclass will begin by analysing short extracts of dialogue across a range of different styles and genres to see what makes for successful speech on stage. You will then work through a series of exercises designed to brush up your skills and ensure your dialogue is the talk of the town.

Chris Bush is an award-winning playwright and lyricist, and Associate Director of Sheffield Theatres.

Her recent work includes Faustus: That Damned Woman (Headlong/Lyric Hammersmith/Birmingham Rep), Pericles (National Theatre: Olivier), Standing At The Sky’s Edge, Steel (Both Sheffield Theatres), The Assassination Of Katie Hopkins (Theatr Clwyd), The Last Noel (Attic Theatre) and The Changing Room (National Theatre Connections).

Her work for Theatre503 includes Poking The Bear, The Bureau Of Lost Things and Speaking Freely.
