CASTING CALLOUT

Theatre503 is looking for performers to join the cast of an upcoming production with casting by Emily Jones.

The team are particularly looking to cast individuals with strong skills in cabaret/drag/stand up/live performance for the following 2 roles:

CHERUBS: Omniscient, omni-potent, angel-like, winged guardians of the gays and theys. Queerer than the day is long, and know how to move, dance, fly, sing and shake better than your bendiest boldest Beyoncé back-up dancer. Exceptionally naughty and impolite anarchists and fire-starters. Both roles multi-role across multiple genders.

We are looking to see performers of White-British and British-South Asian/Mixed British-South Asian heritage for these roles.

We would like to ensure performers from the LGBTQIA+ community feel inspired to apply along with allies to the community.

KEY DATES:

First round auditions will be held on 8 and 10 August. Second round auditions will be held on 16 and 17 August.

Rehearsal dates: 5 September – 4 October
Performance dates: 4 – 22 October
