The Proposal was originally commisioned by Paines Plough as a response to Mike Bartlett’s recent success Love, Love, Love. In September 2011 the final version of The Proposal opened at the Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays, selling out and receiving an excellent response from the audience.
Fiddy West Productions (NSDF Emerging Artists 2009, Best Ensemble, Best Producer, Charlie Hartil Award 2010, Regina Charkham Award) have had previous success with The Meeting and Territory which is now a feature film set for release in 2012.
